Anant Mukesh Ambani, Director of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), and bp CEO Murray Auchincloss have officially opened the 500th Jio-bp pulse EV charging station at the Jio World Centre (JWC) in BKC, Mumbai. This significant event highlights the rollout of 5,000 Jio-bp charging points across India.

Jio-bp Pulse has successfully installed 5,000 charging points across its 500 stations. Notably, 95% of its network comprises fast-charging stations, positioning Jio-bp as a leader in the Indian market, particularly in the high-performance 480 KW public charger category.

The new EV charging station caters to visitors at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre and symbolizes the achievement of 5,000 Jio-bp pulse charging points nationwide.

Jio-bp has rapidly scaled its network, growing from 1,300 to 5,000 stations in just one year. The company emphasizes that its network’s fast charging station ratio is unmatched in the industry. Its goal is to become India’s most dependable charging network by providing high-speed charging with an astounding 96% uptime.

Furthermore, Jio-bp has introduced top-tier 480 KW chargers, complemented by unique Customer Value Propositions (CVPs) that facilitate efficient and quick charging at various locations, including malls, corporate parks, hotels, and rest stops. By mitigating range anxiety and reducing charging time through DC fast chargers, Jio-bp is enhancing the electric vehicle (EV) experience with its advanced Jio-bp pulse charging app, thus fostering EV adoption in India.
